There are many great activities to enjoy in the area during summer.
There is white water rafting down the Shiribetsu River. The ride varies from calm water to white water raids. The rafting generally runs from the middle of April until the end of October. For young children and families there are raft tours on the more mellow upper reaches of the Shiribetsu River.
The scenery and views are spectacular.
Horse riding tours are a great way to see the natural environment in area around the resort. There are long and short courses available depending on how much time you have or you can just take one loop around the area. Small children can ride with an adult.
The amusement park has over 60 different rides including roller coasters, large heated pools, water slides, a 300m running water pool and many other play areas for children.
Noboribetsu is a nearby Onsen or hot spring town. There is nothing like the soothing onsen waters to wash away any aches and pains you may have after doing all the other activities in the area.
